The Caixa de Solidaritat (Catalan Solidarity Fund) helps fund legal costs and/or economic responsibilities involving individuals as a consequence of actions that takine place in the framework of the Catalan independence process, by participating in civic, peaceful, non-violent and democratic actions. These actions must respond to initiatives of Catalan pro-independence organizations and/or political parties, or to follow the mandate resulting from the 1st of October 2017 referendum and the agreements of the Parliament of Catalonia and the Government of the Generalitat in favour of the independence process.

The Caixa de Solidaritat was initially managed by the Catalan National Assembly and Òmnium Cultural, and is now managed by the Associació de Foment de la Caixa de Solidaritat (Association for the Promotion of the Catalan Solidarity Fund), which receives and channels the donations of thousands of people from our society to show their support to the victims of political repression.
